Richard A. Stefanic, MD, AAHIVS
The Rossi Wellness Center is honored to have Richard Stefanic, MD as a physician in our growing practice.
Dr. Stefanic graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tulane University and elected as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society upon graduating from Tulane University School of Medicine. He continued his post-graduate training in general surgery at Tulane University Medical Center and subsequently completed a fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Seville in Spain. He practiced in private settings in the Philadelphia and San Francisco areas for several years and later continued at various academic institutions in Europe and Latin America. These appointments included a clinical director position at the University of Seville’s Miraflores Medical Center and a medical director position at the Immunology Center of the National University of Mexico. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Stefanic joined a private primary care practice in Montgomery County and provided infectious disease care for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
Dr. Stefanic is fluent in Spanish and French. He has been continuously certified as an HIV Specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine since 2003. He joined our practice the summer of 2013.
