Whenever you laugh, frown, concentrate or squint into the sun, your facial muscles contract and your skin creases. As we age, skin loses its elasticity and those creases deepen into lines that become permanently sketched on your face.
Botox is a non-surgical injection procedure that reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, and crows feet near the eyes by immobilizing the muscles you use for facial movements. By blocking the nerves impulses and temporarily relaxing the muscles which cause wrinkles, Botox will restore a more youthful you and allow a less stressed expression on your face.
Results from Botox are visible within one week after treatment and last for up to four months. Rossi Wellness Center can assure your skin will appear smoother, and those facial lines will disappear or diminish in just a few days. Botox is a simple procedure and, in most cases, we can have you in and out of the office in 20-30 minutes, back to your normal activity. It is suggested, however, that you refrain from laying down or bending forward for at least four hours after your procedure.
- Medical (severe armpit sweating or axillary hyperhydrosis)
Each day, the human body perspires to maintain constant internal body temperature. A person who perspires far greater than needed for internal temperature control is diagnosed with hyperhydrosis. Thus, the term axillary hyperhydrosis refers to a condition by which a person suffers from severe armpit sweating. It can stain or ruin certain fabrics, can leave very noticeable wet rings on a person’s clothing leading to a feeling of embarrassment, and makes people feel less confident about themselves, leading to social isolation. Botox is an approved and proven medical treatment for severe armpit sweating. It provides lasting relief when antiperspirants and topical medicines have failed.
As with Botox Cosmetic, results from this procedure are apparent within one week after treatment and lasts up to 5 months in many patients.
